Session Fee
Investing in therapy is both a financial and emotional decision. My goal is to be transparent about fees and policies so you can decide whether working together feels like a good fit, without surprises or pressure.
The fee for a 50-minute therapy session is $210.
Sessions are individualized and evidence-based. This rate reflects specialized training, ongoing consultation, and the time involved outside of session to support high-quality care.
Sliding Scale
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for individuals seeking specialized OCD treatment who would otherwise be unable to access care due to financial constraints.
Sliding scale availability is limited and based on current openings. If this is something you’d like to explore, you’re welcome to reach out by email to discuss options
Insurance and Superbills
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. This means payment is due at the time of service.
Many clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits. If your plan includes them, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement after submitting a superbill.
A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes service and diagnostic codes. I’m happy to provide superbills upon request and can walk you through how to submit them to your insurance company.
Coverage varies by plan, so I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to ask about your specific benefits. Here are some questions you might ask your insurance provider:
Does my plan include out-of-network mental health coverage?
What is my deductible, and has it been met?
What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed?
Is there a limit on the number of sessions per year?
Do I need pre-authorization or a referral from my primary care physician?
Payment
Most major credit cards are accepted. You’ll be asked to securely provide payment information before our first session. Payment is due at the time of service.
Cancellation Policy
Life happens - if you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged half of the full session rate.
Good Faith Estimate
In accordance with the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133), you are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of the costs of services. This estimate outlines expected fees, service codes, and any relevant diagnostic codes. Please note that this is only an estimate — the length of therapy depends on your needs and goals. I’m happy to answer any questions and provide documentation to help you better understand the financial aspect of working together.
For more information about the Good Faith Estimate, you can also review this resource from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
